Daring Do and the Tower of Despair

Day ten of EQD's Artist Training Ground, subject being a pony of legend or with a story. I immediately thought of Daring Do, with a second thought of Starswirl the Bearded. Here she is at the climatic ending of one of her books, in a showdown with the rival treasure hunter who torments her through the book.
It was a close choice between military style here and a smoking jacket/big game hunter look.
I'm noticing that I am rambling more on these and I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that.
